There has always been a special place in our hearts for special needs animals.  In 2016 our family lost our first special needs dog Pepper —epilepsy, major food allergies, deaf and partially blind—and felt it appropriate to officially start this ​organization not only to honor her memory but to also help other special needs animals. 

Aide for Paws is a foster based rescue group that works primarily with special needs and senior animals.  As well
as having our own foster & adoption program we also host events year round to help collect donations of pet
food & supplies for other non-profit animal organizations in need throughout our province. 

Our rescue is based out of Clayton Heights, Cloverdale, British Columbia, Canada and supports other local
charities ​in need.
