BOTTLES FOR BAILEY
May 11, 2017

For those who follow us on Facebook you have probably already seen the
latest addition to Aide For Paws & Rescue Society.

Bailey entered our program only a few weeks ago and was unexpectedly pregnant when she arrived. To our surprise she delivered her puppies last Friday (May 5th) which was 2 weeks earlier than was estimated by her x-rays!!!  With that being said with an unexpected litter of puppies comes a lot of expenses including both medical expenses as well as the cost of much needed supplies.

For the next couple of months we will be collecting empty bottles & cans for our "Bottles for Bailey" campaign. Money raised from returning empties will be used to help cover the cost of raising our new bundles of joy.

If you have empties you would like to donate to help our puppy family they can be dropped off anytime at Regional Recycling (5534 176 Street in Surrey). Please note that you do NOT have to sort any of your bottles - just let the staff know they are a donation for Aide For Paws & they will take care of the rest!

If you would like to make a donation but are unable to drop off please send us a message to: aide4paws@gmail.com  We have an amazing team of volunteers that are happy to pick up if needed in the area of Cloverdale as well as parts of Surrey & Langley.  If the amount raised by donations received exceeds expenses for Bailey and her puppies the remaining funds will be placed into our "Sick Animal Fund" to help out the next rescue animal in need.

Thanks so much as always for your support - we couldn't do what we do without your help.

If you would like to follow Bailey & her puppies journey with us don't forget to check us out on Facebook - including LIVE VIDEO feed of the birth!

December 20, 2016

On December 11, 2016, 80+ families in Langley’s Paddington Station condo complex found themselves homeless and helpless as they watched their home be consumed by flames.

A good friend of ours was among those affected along with her two dogs and cat. Thankfully they escaped the fire and the Langley firefighters were able to rescue her cat.

Aide for Paws is collecting donations of new and/or gently used pet supplies to make Christmas gifts for the animals affected by the fire.

This Tuesday, December 20th, another friend and country music star Karen Lee Batten is hosting a benefit concert to help raise much needed funds for the Paddington Station
fire victims.

There will be performances from 12 singing acts including Karen Lee and Chad Brownlee,
a special dance team, and appearances from Mr & Mrs Claus themselves. This will be a
community event to be remembered!

We are asking everyone in the Langley and Fraser Valley community to join together
and help give Christmas back to the families of Paddington Station. Here is how you can
